The Basics

Our Goal is to encourage young riders to have fun and respect others as much as it is to progress and develop new riding skills. Our emphasis will be on freestyle and racing, but we will also include freeriding. Team members will be encouraged and coached to attempt manuevers or tricks that they feel comfortable with, and safety will be the number one concern.

Events

There are several freestyle and racing events hosted by the resort throughout the season that are perfect for introducing young riders to snowboard competitions. We will have coaches available for all those events.

Team Coaches

We have a highly trained staff of coaches which include AASI(American Association of Snowboard Instructors) certified snowboard instructors, some of which started as team members.

Ages and Skills

Ages are 17 and under. There are no tryouts, but we do ask that members can complete toe and heelside turns on moderate terrain.

Registration Information

To register you must sign and complete a registration packet. That can be done at the Ski School Desk. The cost for the season of training is $250.00. The team members will be able to purchase a discounted season pass for $95.00. Discounted passes will be available for parents and siblings.
