Timberline Hotel Improvements

H-Corridor - What is it and how can it save you time on your drive.
If you are coming from DC you have to take advantage of the time savings and lack of neausa inducing switchbacks on old 55W. Starting right outside Wardensville you can jump on the new H-corridor. It is a nice, well maintained 2 lane highway that bypasses many of the curvy and icy switchback-laden mountain passes that many of us old-timers remember driving on a friday night. It literally shaves over 30 minutes off the drive from the east. Eventually they will complete this highway from Wardensville to Davis which should shave over an hour from the already short drive from the DC area. See our Directions page for more informaton.
