Annual Summer Mountain and Country Music Festival
Enjoy the sounds of West Virginia’s rich musical heritage presented by Roy Scott, legendary star of the world famous WWVA Jamboree and MGM recording artist. Mr. Scott appears live Friday and Saturday evening, also featuring Jan and Lori of Harmony Scott. Timbers Pub and Grill and Mountain Bike Center open. Scenic chairlift rides to the summit of Herz Mountain, at 4,362 feet elevation, all day Saturday and Sunday. Shrimp and Rib Specials. No cover charge for the performances. Call early for room reservations in the new Timbers Lodge. The rooms are upscale with two queen sized beds, scenic balconies and plasma TV’s. Some rooms have indoor whirlpool spas. |

WV HOG Ralley Bike Show
The ride-in bike show on Saturday July 19th at 1pm, will be part of the 2008 WV State HOG Rally which runs 16- 20 of July. The show is open to the public with hundreds of competitors from some of the most renowned Harley Davidson bike owners in the country. Prizes and awards will be given away immediately after the show, so stick around for the presentation. The Cornhole Chapter Challenge Tournament will also be held on Timberline grounds just after the show awards, so be there to route your chapter to victory. You must be a HOG member and registered to the rally to compete in either event. But spectators are encouraged. Roy Scott with Harmony Scott will be performing all afternoon into the evening. There is no cover charge. Come enjoy the music and view some of the best bikes in the state. |

Annual Frontier Weekend
Go back in time (circa 1835) for a weekend in the old West with authentic cow camp and chuck wagon complete with all the appropriate gear. Witness a live shoot out on horse back just behind Timberline Ski Lodge! Also enjoy trail rides, barbecue, square dancing, old western and mountain music live by the Saddle Tramps. Scenic chairlift rides Saturday and Sunday. Wear your western clothes and enjoy the events. There is no cover charge. Call early for reservations in the onsite hotel. Timbers Lodge features upscale rooms with scenic decks, two queen sized beds, plasma TV’s. Whirlpool spas available in some rooms. Stay for the entire Frontier weekend including the late night menu and entertainment. |

Annual Gospel Music Day Sunday, Aug. 10
Gospel music presented at the ski lodge. Traditional and contemporary music, both vocal and instrumental, will be performed. Live gospel groups will appear. |

Racefest VII “Timberline 50”

Annual Labor Day Weekend Celebration
Live entertainment at 9pm on Aug 29th, and September 1st in the Fireside Grill and Timbers Pub. Scenic chairlift operational August30th, 31st and September 1st 10am until 5pm. Mountain Bike Center and Timberline Stables open daily. There is a full menu in Timberline’s Fireside Grill daily. No charge for the live entertainment. Call early for Timbers Lodge room reservations for this long weekend. |

Autumn Festival
Timberline's Autumn Festival. There will be free live entertainment Friday and Saturday evening. Seafood special Friday night and award winning rib specials Saturday night. Enjoy the autumn mountain scenery and all of its colors from the Timberline scenic chair lift. Chair lift is operational Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 5pm. Revenge of the Rattlesnake & DH Mtn. Bike Race
Timberline is proud of its newly expanded downhill biking terrain, which has been enthusiastically received by bikers this summer. The Revenge of the Rattlesnake & Downhill Mountain Bike race will be held Saturday, Sept. 27th and Sunday, Sept. 28th. The Downhill Mountain Bike Race will include a Super D and 2 run dowhhill course. Details of this event and race are still being finalized. Personal Awareness Workshop
This two day personal growth workshop led by Dr. Vaugh Michael and sponsored by Timberline Four Seasons resort and Conference Center will include coping during times of stress, daily living, personal loss, meditating and relaxing skills, personal illness and self talk. Dr. Michael is director of Pastoral Care West Virginia University Hospital, Fellow in College of Chaplins and PSIA Ski Instructor at Timberline. |
