Nordihaus If you don't ski, then we will teach you. Our ski school offers instruction in Alpine and Snowboard Skiing. Our packages include a 1 hour introductory lesson for the beginner that will include instruction in putting on your skis, taking them off, walking, stopping, turning on very gentle slopes and riding the lift. Timberline Ski School is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America

Want to take your scouts, youth group or school class on an inexpensive overnight weekend or weekday trip? Then come stay with us in one of our two bunkhouses. Get your lodging, meals, lift tickets, rentals and introductory ski lesson at an unbelievable low rate. We have packages as low as $79.00 per person. If you want something a little nicer, like a house or condo with a fireplace and hot tub, then we can help you find that too.

Don't want to stay overnight. That's okay. Bring your group and take advantage of one of our really low priced Day Packages. Our packages, Sunday thru Friday, include an all day lift ticket (from opening to closing, even if there is night skiing), regular downhill ski equipment rental and a Level 1 beginners ski lesson. Want to come on Saturday? That's great, we will build the package you need and you can still save over the main lift ticket window prices.

5/22/2009- 5/25/2009 Beginning of Timberline’s Summer Season. The Scenic chairlift rides operational every Saturday and Sunday and holidays 10am until 5pm. Explore and hike the Dolly Sods. Scenic chairlift rides available on the 23rd, 24th, & 25th. Timberline’s stable open daily with guided trail rides. Timberline Bike Shop opens daily. Timbers Pub and Grill open every day all year. Friday seafood special and Saturday's "all you can eat" award winning ribs are available along with a full dinner menu both Friday and Saturday evening.
5/23/2009	First Koontz Summer ATV and Bike Race - May 23
5/23/2009- 5/24/2009 May 23rd features the first Koontz summer ATV and bike race. Saturday, May 23rd promises to be the area's biggest celebration of the early summer season! Brother Short will perform at Timbers Pub at 9pm. This increasingly popular bi-annual event at Timberline is a Paul Koontz production and features motor bike races and ATV races on The Racefest IX weekend. The event entertainment will be rock and a variety of music Fridy evening at 8pm. The event continues all day Saturday with early morning breakfast at the Fireside Grill upstairs at the ski lodge and food, entertainment, and scenic chair lift rides throughout the day. Food and beverage will be served on the deck or in the lodge all day. 6/12/2009	Annual Summer Rhythm and Blues Festival
6/12/2009- 6/13/2009 A weekend full of live rhythm and blues music Friday evening through late Saturday. There is no cover charge for any performance. Scenic chairlift rides every weekend all summer. Ride the lift to the 4,268 feet summit and hike on the most spectacular trails in the East. The bike shop and Timberline’s riding stables open daily. Experience the network of the expanded biking trails at Timberline Four Season Resort. There will be a full menu in the Fireside Grill. The Grill will also feature Friday Seafood Special and Saturday evening Timberline’s famous barbeque ribs special. No charge for the musical performances. Call for advance reservations in the new onsite Timberline Resort Hotel and Suites at the base of Winterset Trail a short walk from the activities at the Timbers Pub and Fireside Grill in the ski lodge.
6/18/2009	Timberline Motorcycle Rally June 18-21
6/18/2009- 6/21/2009 Come to Timberline Four Seasons Resort and enjoy the most scenic mountain riding terrain on the East Coast. The resort is located on the Eastern Continental Divide of the West Virginia Allegheny Mountains with a resort elevation of 4,268 feet! The rally will feature live bands each day throughout the event with both rock and country vocals and instrumental music that features the innate talent of this portion of the Allegheny Mountains. Enjoy scenic motorcycle riding, field events, bike show, a Poker Run on Saturday with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society, as well as good food, cold beer and big nightly parties in the resort's Timbers Pub and under the stars on the deck. Reservations available onsite at the resort's new Timberline Four Seasons Resort Hotel and Suites. The hotel offers air conditioned spacious rooms with wide screen TV's, private decks with mountain views, jet style bath tubs and an exercise room. 6/26/2009	Blue Grass Festival
6/26/2009- 6/28/2009 Enjoy three days of blue grass music while bands compete in a battle of the banks culminating in the awarding of first and seond place prizes Saturday, June 27th. Sunday morning the bands will present blue grass gospel until noon June 28th. Reserve the new onsite Timberline Four Seasons Resort Hotel and Suites for your family or your group. The hotel is located at the festival site and adjacent to the Timberline Lodge houses Timbers Pub and Fireside Grill which are open daily early until late for good food and beverages. The hotel has spacious room, private mountain view balconies, flat screen TV's air conditioning and is certrally located at the festival, and is close to the 1,000 foot scenic chairlift, horseback riding and mountain bike center. 7/3/2009- 7/6/2009 Mountain Bike Center opens daily. Scenic lift rides to the summit of Herz Mountain (altitude 4,362 feet, vertical 1,000 feet) July 4th – 6th, Friday through Sunday. Attach your bike and ride the chairlift for high altitude bike riding. Fireside Grill open daily for lunch and dinner and Timbers Pub open daily with late night food and beverage. Timberline Stables open daily for trail riding. Live music in Timbers Pub 8pm July 4th & 5th. There is no cover charge. Call for reservations in the new Timbers Lodge for onsite, upscale, lodging which is just a short walk to the lift, grill, pub, and late night entertainment.
7/10/2009	Annual Summer Celtic Music Festival - July 11 & 12
7/10/2009- 7/11/2009 Enjoy the increasingly popular Celtic music presented by recognized Celtic artists playing traditional Irish songs; both vocal and instrumental renditions of quintessential Celtic sounds will be presented on fiddle, mandolin and guitar. Later, at 9pm contemporary and traditional music for dancing until 1am with no cover charge. There is a full menu in the Fireside Grill and late night menu. 7/15/2009	WV HOG Rally - July 15-18
7/15/2009- 7/18/2009 This week at Timberline look for non-stop excitement as hundreds of Harley Davidson owners from around the country come to enjoy the food, music, and big bike show at Timberline. The fun will extend from Wednesday July 15th through Saturday July 18th. During this time the bikers and guests will have daily activites at Timberline including breakfast, lunch and dinner and all these activities will culminate with the big Harley Davidson Ride-In-Bike Show outside the ski lodge with the country legends performance by Ramblin'Roy Scott and the huge Saturday night dinner and dance party. Bikers and guests will enjoy the outdoor setting and the sounds of West Virginia's rich musical heritage presented by Roy Scott, legendary star of the world famous WWVA Jamboree and MGM recording artist. Mr. Scott appears with Jan and Lori of Harmony Scott. The Harley Davidson bike show as part of a Harley Davison (HOG) Rally will be held Saturday afternoon, July 18th at the Timberline Ski Lodge adjacent to the new Timberline Resort Hotel and Suites. Over two hundred bikes will be displayed and judged while particpants and visitors enjoy the classic and contemporary sounds of Mr. Scott and Harmony Scott on the deck of the ski lodge. 7/31/2009- 8/1/2009 Go back in time (circa 1835) for a weekend in the old West with authentic cow camp and chuck wagon complete with all the appropriate gear. Witness a live shoot out on horse back just behind Timberline Ski Lodge! Also enjoy trail rides, barbecue, square dancing, old western and mountain music live by the Saddle Tramps. Scenic chairlift rides Saturday and Sunday. Wear your western clothes and enjoy the events. There is no cover charge. Call early for reservations in the onsite hotel. 8/8/2009- 8/9/2009 Gospel music performed at the ski lodge. Traditional and contemporary music, both vocal and instrumental, will be performed. Live gospel groups will appear from 1pm - 7pm. Barbeque ribbs will be served, along with a full menu in the Fireside Grill. Then come and enjoy late night entertainment in the Fireside Grill and Timbers Pub.

9/5/2009	Annual Labor Day Weekend Celebration - Sept 4-7
9/5/2009- 9/7/2009 Live entertainment at 9pm on Aug 29th, and September 1st in the Fireside Grill and Timbers Pub. Scenic chairlift operational August30th, 31st and September 1st 10am until 5pm. Mountain Bike Center and Timberline Stables open daily. There is a full menu in Timberline’s Fireside Grill daily. James Michel Woodyard will be performing Friday and Sunday evening. Saturday evening at 9 pm Laurel Creek Chicken Pickers will be performing. No charge for the live entertainment. Call early for Timbers Lodge room reservations for this long weekend.
