Skiing is a wonderful sport for the young and young at heart. The fresh alpine air, combined with Vigorous exercise, and the excitement of "challenging the mountain", are attractions hard to describe unless you've done it.

The Timberline Ski School sponsors and conducts a Snow Sports Merit Badge (Alpine, Nordic & Snowboard) training program. All merit badge instructors are members of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and have been approved by the National Capitol Region, Boy Scouts of America.

Timberline supports the Boy Scouts skiing program by providing three levels of skier education leading to the Snow Sports Merit Badge.
